【百景図と人。Vol.7ペルラキさん】
津和野百景図に携わる人をご紹介します。
平成29年度になり、新しいスタッフを迎えました。
（※令和元年5月現在は退職されています）
第7回目は、ペルラキさん。
母国語のハンガリー語はもちろん英語やその他の言語、
日本語も日本文化もよく知っていて、
今回のインタビューも彼自身で
日本語と英語を書いてくれました。
さっそくインタビューしてみましょう！
Hi ! We are ” Tsuwano-cho Japan Heritage center ”.
We will introduce a new staff member, Mr PERLAKY!
The interview is as follows;
Q．お名前は？
『ペルラキ ディーネシュ ぺテル』 です。
ハンガリーは日本と同じ順番で、苗字から名前です。
ディーネシュは、ギリシャ神話のディオニューソス神からくる名前です。
３番目の名前は、私のことを守っている「もの」の名前です（天使とか）。
私の場合はお父さんの名前。
Q. May I ask for your name?
PERLAKY Denes Peter. The order of the name is the same as in Japanes, family name followed by first name. My name comes from the Greek Dionysus, the god of wine and festivities. In Hungary, most of the people have a “third” name too, which is the name of the “protecting angel”. In my case, it is my father’s name.
Q.出身地は？
ハンガリーの首都、ブダペストから参りました。
Q. Where are you from?
I am from the capital of Hungary, Budapest.
Q．好きなものは何ですか？(たべもの・趣味・特技・なんでもどうぞ)
日本に来て、キノコ類が好きになってきました。
エリンギ、シイタケ、エノキなど。あと串焼き、居酒屋の雰囲気も楽しんでいます。
数年前は裏千家のお稽古に通いましたが、最近は時間が無くて休んでいます。
Q. What do you like? (for example food, hobby, etc.)
Since I came to Japan, I came to like mushrooms.
Eringi, Shiitake, Enoki, etc. Also,
I started to enjoy kushiyaki (small kebab style grilled meat and vegetables)
especially in the atmosphere of an izakaya (Japanese pub) surrounding.
A few years ago, I attended Urasenke Japanese tea ceremony classes,
but recently I didn’t have the time to go. Maybe in my new life in Tsuwano.
Q.「百景図お気に入りの一枚」とその理由を教えてください。
第三十一図「常盤橋」かもしれないです。
この絵に何も特別な場所、行事が描かれてないですが、
雰囲気として、昔の日本を感じられると思います。
一般的な生活で歩いている人々、
日本でよくみられる橋、松と築山のすがたを見ると
「あぁ、人がこういうところで毎日を過ごしてたかも」と感じます。
Q.Tell us your favorite picture in the Hyakkeizu, and the reason why.
It might be number 31, “Tokiwa-bashi Bridge”.
This picture doesn’t show any special place or event,
but the atmosphere gives me the feeling of old Japan.
People are walking during an average day,
and when I see the pine trees, bridge with the earthen wall,
I come feel that “this is the surrounding where people of the time
were spending their everyday life”.
Q.他のスタッフに聞いた「ペルラキさんはこんな人！」
「知性とユーモアを兼ね備えた人です。
難しい日本語もよく知っていますし、
日本語でジョークを言ったりもします。
彼がコンシェルジュとしてご案内することで、
海外の方によりニーズに合った津和野の魅力を
ご案内できるようになると期待しています。（酢屋）」
Q .“What is he like?” from colleague
“He is a smart, also humorous person.
He even knows a lot of difficult words in Japanese,
he sometime tell a joke in Japanese.
I expect he will be a good guide for the international visitors.
